Denali Fly Fishing Guides offer personalized and fully outfitted fly fishing excursions into Broad pass between the Alaska Range and the Talkeetna Mountain Ranges. Trip opportunities include 4.5 hour, 6 hour, 8.5 hour (full day) and multi day trips using lightweight fly gear pursuing Arctic Grayling and other fish in the area. All trips, except float fishing trips, are on foot on small mountain streams offering a true wilderness experience within sight of Denali.
Beginners are welcome and will get a full fly casting lesson as well as an introduction to the basics of fly selection, catch and release techniques and reading water.
Trips include round trip transportation from area hotels and lodges to our office on the bank of the Nenana River.
An Alaska fishing license is required and can be purchased at: http://www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license/.
A one day out of state costs $25 and multiday licenses are also available.

You Should Bring
We suggest that you bring your own rain gear, however we do have rubber loaner jackets. Layers like sweaters or jackets, extra socks, a hat with a brim and a water bottle are also suggested. Sunglasses, we recommend polarized, are helpful even on cloudy days.
Our trips are designed for folks in good health and physical condition. All participants must be able to walk or stand for three to four hours at a time. Clients of all ages over 12 (15 years old for six hour trips) are welcome whether they are experienced fly fisherman looking to check Arctic Grayling off their species list or beginners looking to step off the road system for a few hours and learn the art of fly fishing in some of the most beautiful terrain in our state.
You must be able to walk up to a mile over uneven terrain and wade in shallow streams as part of these trips.
All fly fishing on our trips is catch and release using guide made flies with barbless hooks.
